DOG WASTE BIN

The Parish Council have previously discussed the capacity of t

he dog waste bin below Field House, when it was inclined to overflow on the weekend. During "lockdown" it has become more of an issue as people take the opportunity of outdoor exercise. A recent post on the Burton Joyce Village Facebook page has highlighted the problem when people have used the bin to dispose of their discarded coffee cups.

The Parish Council have therefore invested in a larger bin which has now been fitted with the kind assistance of the STW farm manager John Jackson. The original smaller bin has been relocated by Councillor Leaves on Old Main Road opposite "Oaklands"
